Thomas ripped out our old gas insert fireplace and put in a brand new direct vent gas fireplace. We also added a floor to ceiling stone tile accent as well as a reclaimed wood mantle. It came out FABULOUS!! We couldn’t be happier with the work that Thomas did. I truly believe he went above and beyond for us. He even suggested painting one wall to make the stone work pop. He’s a contractor, but he has a wonderful eye for design. Which also means that the finished product is not only functional, but beautiful and polished. Over the next couple of years, we also plan to use Thomas for all of our bathroom remodels.

Was he timely in the completion of your project?
Yes. In fact, he was quite flexible in working with whatever schedule worked best for us.

Arrive on time when stated?
We were never on a tight schedule with Thomas. We kept timeframes more general. That being said, he always showed up when he said he would. And if anything were to change beforehand, he always texted me to let me know. To answer your question, yes, his timing is reliable.

Clean up as requested on a daily basis?
Absolutely. He kept his tools in our basement (after asking if that was ok), but always vacuumed the area, folded up all drop clothes and stacked everything in the corner.

Reasonable price for the job completed?
Yes. We quoted our fireplace job with a couple other companies and his was the most competitive. Not to mention, he did far more work for the cost than any of the other companies.

Quality of work superior and quality of materials used?
Most definitely! In fact, we picked out a simple tile for the hearth that we liked. Thomas ended up getting us these much larger, absolutely gorgeous stone tiles that look amazing. When we told him we’d never seen them at the stone store, he smiled and said they aren’t on the floor, but he has a great relationship with the manager there. I think that also speaks volumes of his character.

We used Thomas Deriso and Integrity Works Contracting to remodel 3 bathrooms in our house. From the moment of our first meeting with him, we knew this was who we wanted to use for the job. We got estimates from 3 contractors for the job, and only Thomas took the time and energy to get to know us and learn what we really wanted in the job prior to giving us his estimate. Once we got started with the job he put and incredible amount of time into helping us choose all the materials for the job, design the bathrooms, and help us find the best value also. He passed along any discounts he received for materials to us, and whenever something unexpected came up, he did not increase his price!
